Our Business Model

As the first and only wholly owned and operated Western shipyard in China, Tricon Marine represents a new era of quality and cost-efficiency in the luxury yacht industry. We build yachts for a clientele of discerning yachtsmen and OEM dealers. ‘Industry standard’ isn’t an adequate description of what we do. At every stage of the construction process we aim to surpass industry standards and build superior yachts of unprecedented quality. That’s what we do.

Our Shipyard

Our shipyard was built to accommodate the high standards of our yachts. Perfectly located just an hour’s ferry ride from Hong Kong and minutes from Macau, our shipyard is situated just outside the beautiful city of Zhuhai in Southern China. Our 55,000 sq.meter (538,000 sq. feet) state-of-the-art facility operates at the highest Western standards of craftsmanship, cleanliness and security. Though Tricon has the capacity to construct 6  vessels up to  45m (150’) in length, the company limits build slots to a maximum of three because we believe each yacht deserves special attention.

Our Team

Tricon’s skilled management team has more than 75 years of combined industry experience in European and North American boat building with some of the most recognized names in the industry helping to build our yachts. Our team also has the strongest local experience of any shipbuilder worldwide, having launched numerous builds in China over the past decade, including yachts over 38m (125’).
